From day one your tutor will concentrate on your interests and focus on subjects that will benefit you in your studies. If you are reading this then we can assume that you are already a keen reader of either newspapers, magazines and anything easily at hand to read. These lessons are carefully planned to prepare you for the markets and success as an outside contributor to many periodicals, magazines and newspapers on offer. Many new writers start out by making their hobbies and profession their specialised subject. You should read as much material as possible, this will help you with the sort of material you would like to emulate. You will be able to discuss your own reading interests with your tutor so that you can be guided towards which market that interests you. Every effort and support will be given to you even if you decide not to publish, and that you would just like to write for personal reasons. The aim is to enjoy the course and be able to gain valuable knowledge and satisfaction. Think what a pleasure it will be to see your name in print for the first time. |
